NEXT Update

NEXT is alive and well. Thanks to all who are finding joy in giving to God through Hillside. We are now more than 3 months past our Celebration Sunday. Our people have begun the faith journey of fulfilling their commitments each week. As of this date, $768,575.82 has been given to NEXT. Remember, 45% of that goes toward Priority 1, our needed new children’s building; 45% of it goes to debt retirement; and 10% goes to missions/multi-site. Please take a look around the rest of this website to be refreshed on the other priorities.

The time we spent in April and May to focus on what God will do NEXT at Hillside was time well spent. Tommy’s teaching on stewardship has impacted many. Besides the commitments made, we are also very excited to see about 300 families beginning to tithe or give for the first time. Gifts to our Operations budget this summer have been up nearly 20%. This allows us not only to carry on day to day ministry, but gives us the option to use those funds for debt retirement or to give Priority 1 a jump start.

Thanks to all who have been so open to Tommy's teachings. We are a changed church. Let's go together to see what God has for us NEXT!

I WANT TO CONVEY THE CHURCH’S CURRENT FINANCIAL SITUATION TO YOU.

As most of you are aware, we incurred debt with the building of Hillside. We are continually monitoring and paying down our debt as the funds become available. Our debt is relatively  small when compared to the overall cost of the building, but nevertheless, it is debt.
